What does teeth whitening look like?
Firstly, we talk with the customer, complete the form and clarify any indications and contraindications to the treatment. Subsequently, we use the colour sampler to find the customer’s present teeth colour. When we find the colour, the customer gets a special disposable finger-tip to brush his or her teeth with an activator. Then, we put whitening gel on the teeth and irradiate them with the laser lamp (3 x 15 min.). Then, we check the treatment effects, using the special colour sampler. The difference in shades received by our customers is usually 4-12 shades, depending on the initial and individual (natural) colour of the teeth. It should be noted that false teeth such as veneers, crowns and implants cannot be whitened.
Enamel remineralisation
As one of the few companies in the market, besides teeth whitening we also carry out the enamel remineralisation. Remineralisation is conducted after whitening the teeth to enforce the teeth enamel. In this treatment we use products containing the so-called liquid enamel (bioactive calcium and phosphates). After using the preparations, calcium is built into the teeth enamel and creates the protective layer on their surface. Consequently, the enamel is smoother and regains its natural gloss. This process is called the enamel remineralisation. Calcium hydroxyapatite contained in remineralisation preparations is a non-toxic substance which does not cause any inflammatory or immunological reaction as - as opposed to fluorine - its chemical composition does not differ from hydroxyapatite naturally occurring in teeth.
Remineralisation takes about 10 minutes and involves the application of special preparations on the teeth surface.Teeth whitening means a perfect smile!
Each of us dreams of white and gloss teeth. It is safe to say that the healthy smile is the base for success at work, school or on a date. Unfortunately, due to various factors the colour of your teeth changes and over time there occur yellow spots that undoubtedly spoil your beautiful smile. A lot of people are ashamed of their grey or even yellow enamel, they shut up like a clam and stop meeting with people. This should not be! Fortunately, there are proven methods for snow-white and natural teeth.
Why do our teeth lose their “former glory”?
Discoloration of our teeth is caused by various reasons such as our age, “enamel” quality or our daily habits. Their appearance is substantially affected by the consumption of the broadly defined products such as tea, coffee, cigarettes, and by the incorrect and badly-balanced diet. Moreover, the incorrect hygiene may give rise to sediment that is unpleasant to the eye - excessive fluorine or mouthwashes containing chloride compounds. It cannot be denied that your teeth appearance considerably depends on your health condition. Discolouration is characteristic for people suffering from systemic diseases or taking specific drugs containing, e.g. tetracycline.
Our teeth whitening treatment is very simple, effective and - primarily - safe. We do not use any gels containing hazardous hydrogen peroxide! Almost all of our customers are satisfied with the result - their teeth get the desired and brighter colour. It should not be forgotten, though, that the results will be permanently visible only when the patient changes his or her nutrition habits, i.e. applies an appropriate diet. Depending on the customer’s hygiene and the adherence to our recommendations, the shade should be kept for maximum 12 months. Both men and women who underwent the teeth whitening treatment should avoid red wine, coffee, tea and products containing dyes, as well as change traditional toothpastes to special whitening products. However, you do not need to give up your pleasure - a good solution is to drink colouring beverages such as wine or coffee through a straw.
No home-made teeth whitening gives a spectacularly snow-white smile. Regardless the number of on-line guidebooks, only specialist products offered by professional surgeries may completely eliminate discolouration. Moreover, the use of unverified liquids, mouthwashes, toothpastes or gels may lead to disastrous consequences - in the worst case scenario they may result in the permanent enamel damage or gum burn.
How do we whiten teeth?
Teeth whitening conducted at surgeries is comfortable for patients as it lasts about 45 min. (3 x 15 min.). The treatment is conducted under the watchful eye of the expert who ensures the patient’s safety. Firstly, we thoroughly check our patient’s teeth condition, clarify all “pros” and “cons”, discuss any contraindications and collect information on the patient’s health condition and expectations as to their expected treatment results. Another crucial issue is to determine the present teeth shade - to this end, we apply the special colour sampler. Subsequently, the customer gets an activator, the application of which starts the whitening process. Following applying a special gel on the teeth, the teeth are irradiated with the state-of-the-art laser lamp. This process is repeated three times - each radiation lasts 15 minutes. The results are visible directly after completing the treatment. The colour sampler enables the customer to compare the results “before” and “after” the treatment, i.e. how many shades we have managed to whiten the teeth.
The teeth whitening conducted at the surgery is fast, effective and exceptionally comfortable. One hour is enough to give our customer a healthy and beautiful smile.
